Emory Police Communications

The Emory Police 9-1-1 center is responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency calls for service.  The communications officers also dispatch police and EMS.  After business hours and on weekends, the Emory Police 9-1-1 center answers calls for the Emory Parking Office and Facilities Management.  The communications officers are responsible for dispatching escort drivers and night and weekend mechanics, when necessary.

Like the Emory Police Department, the 9-1-1 center is staffed 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.  The communications officers work 3 shifts.  We currently employ 10 full-time and 1 part-time operators.
