Police Services
The Emory University Police Department provides complete law enforcement services to the Emory Community which includes the Main Campus, Midtown Campus, and Oxford college. The main campus includes Emory University Hospital, Yerkes Primate Center, and extensive medical research and treatment centers. In addition to the approximately 12,000 students and 14,000 employees, there are 5,000 to 15,000 visitors and guests daily at Emory University's main campus.
The Emory Police Department has jurisdiction both on and off Emory property and works in conjunction with the Dekalb County Police Department, the Atlanta Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies, to provide law enforcement services to the greater Emory community.
