WHAT TO DO IF I NEED NEW CARPET?

Just call Campus Services' Work Mangement Center at 404.727.7464 and ask for a work order to have one of our professional designers meet with you to assess your flooring needs.  The Interior Design group will be able to provide samples, pricing, procurement services, and the project management to get the job done.  Please note that the first 2 hours of design service is at no charge and after services are billed at $75.00 per hour.

Carpet in office spaces typically lasts 10 years or more. Carpeting in other areas may last longer or wear out more quickly depending on the type of carpet installed and traffic pattern. Unfortunately, Campus Services is not funded to replace carpet and other flooring on a ten-year cycle. For approximately 6.5 million square feet of flooring across campus, a ten-year replacement program would require over $2M per year in an ongoing program for our standard basic carpet and floor replacement. We do try to cover the cost of replacement flooring in emergency situations. When funding is available, Campus Services may partner with customers to share in replacement costs for carpet or other flooring. Carpet will generally last longer if frequently vacuumed and periodically cleaned using professional carpet cleaning methods.

WHAT IF I NEED NEW FURNITURE FOR MY SPACE OR MY DEPARTMENT SPACE?

Contact Campus Services' Work Mangement Center at 404.727.7464 and ask for a work order to have one of our professional designers meet with you to assess your furniture needs.  Your interior designer will be able to provide layouts furniture and finish options for your space.  Your designer will provide pricing and with your final sign off, can manage the furniture order from purchase order to installation.    The Interior Design department provides the first 2 hours of design service at no charge and after the 2 hours it is $75.00 per hour. You may choose to review the "thought starters" documents in the Quick Links to the right. This will give you some excellent office configurations to consider for your needs.

WHAT IF I NEED A NEW TASK CHAIR?

Just call Campus Services' Work Mangement Center at 404.727.7464 and ask for a work order to have one of our professional designers meet with you to assess your task chair needs.  The interior design department has access to Emory University approved vendors to find a chair that is best suited for you and is a smart investment for your department.  When necessary, your designer can request sample chairs that can be used up to 3 days if you would like to test drive a chair.  The Interior Design department provides the first 2 hours of design service is at no charge and after the 2 hours it is $75.00 per hour.
